Pressing Technician
- Presses inserts according to work orders, the production schedule, and predetermined quality standards.
- Reviews staged tooling and powder to ensure it is correct for the intended job.
- Performs visual and measurement tests on pressed product by all operators to ensure conformity with specifications provided on the work order or in predetermined standards and approves such products for pressing and sinter testing.
- Cleans and maintains the pressing equipment and tooling to avoid contamination of material as part of the preventive maintenance program.
- Responsible for routine equipment checks to ensure equipment is operating correctly and efficiently.
- Responsible for recording press run information on work order, reporting labor performed on each job pressed, and other paperwork associated with the pressing of products.
- Paints sintering trays according to specifications when required.
- Observes safe working practices, rules and regulations, correcting obvious hazards in work area as discovered or reporting immediately to supervisor, if not correctable.

Education and/or Experience: Three (3) years' experience in manufacturing preferred.
Language skills: No special language skills required.
Mathematical Skills: Average mathematical skills required.
Reasoning Ability: Average reasoning ability required.
